Annie Kratzsch is a writer and editor from Louisville, Kentucky. She is the creator of This Rare Day, a blog that chronicles life as the parent of a child with a rare disease and explores the complexities that arise along the way. Annie is a graduate of Transylvania University, where she studied English literature. She also taught literature and writing at the middle and high school levels.

Tessa Janes, is an artist who resides in Louisville with her husband and two daughters. Tessa studied art at the University of Louisville and did graduate work at Southern Theological Seminary. Tessa does custom artwork and has illustrated five children's books with Christian Focus Publishing, as well as children's study material for New Growth Publishing and Sojourn Community Church. Her illustrated books include: What is the Gospel?, What is the Church?, Our Home is Like a Little Church, The Bible's Big Story, God's Royal Family: The Greatest Royal Family Ever, and PROOF Pirates: Finding the Treasure of God's Amazing Grace.
