Little Bear's mama sends him on an adventure, encouraging him to lift his eyes to find the Maker of the mountain. At each stop along the way, Little Bear meets new friends who have each seen the Maker and can tell the small bear more about what He's like. At the pasture, he learns that God is like a gate, always keeping His sheep safe. In the vineyard, the bear learns that God is like the vine, helping us to grow. And on the mountain, he sees that the Maker is sturdy and strong.

Little Bear travels up the mountain, across the sea, and finally back home again, where he can rest his head at night knowing that God is always with us. This beautifully illustrated picture book includes a map of Little Bear's world, with corresponding Scriptures noted for each stop on his adventure.
