This powerful little book reads like Dr. Seuss but with a much more important message. What I like most about it is the emphasis on celebrating God’s good design for all mankind. On a topic that can become deeply hurtful and divisive, Shai reminds us all that “what some call ethnicity and others call race, we should celebrate as a gift of God’s grace.”

The colorful illustrations and compelling writing of God Made Me and You  helps readers see the beauty of diversity in God's image-bearers, with a particular focus on ethnic diversity. It also models for parents how to have conversations about diversity from a biblical perspective.
