John Henderson

John Henderson serves as the Associate Pastor at Del Ray Baptist Church in Alexandria, VA. He also serves as a board member of the Biblical Counseling Coalition and the Association of Biblical Counselors. While working on his doctorate in Counseling Psychology, the Lord opened his eyes more fully to the gospel of Jesus Christ and all its implications for daily life, moving him to enter pastoral ministry with a focus on care and counseling. By God’s grace he has written Equipped to Counsel, a training curriculum in biblical counseling, and Catching Foxes, a book for marriage preparation. John and his wife Ruth have been blessed with five children.
